MY VISIT

California was a very long trip for me (1 week and 5 days to be exact). Since we visited so many places, here are the top three things I did there. The number one thing I enjoyed was just spending time with my cousins, aunts and uncles. They all live in San Francisco so it was amazing seeing them. 

The second thing I really loved was going to Fisherman’s Wharf. We ate the famous clam chowder in a bread bowl, we saw Pier 39 (where all the sea lions are) and we went to the Ghirardelli chocolate factory. I also got some stamps for my passport. In the National park we got to go on boats, and I even found a (statue) pig!   

Lastly, I have to include the Liberty Bell and Capital Building. Even though it was a 2 hour drive to Sacramento from SF, it was one of the nicest capitals I’ve been to! They had a rose garden and a desert garden (sand and cacti). 

But the Capital Building was so cool. When I went inside we first took some pictures in a long hallway and then took a photo of the ceiling in the middle. It was a huge dome, but you could look up and see the inside of it. There was glass to look out, gold and lights.  

For the Liberty Bell, it was so well hidden that it took about 15 minutes to find. But, it was in a nice area and everything around the bell looked new. While we were there we also went to go eat tacos and walk around. The taco place was called Vallejo’s Restaurant. It had delicious food and I loved it. Then we drove back to San Francisco and after that, we went home. Bye California!
