Georgia was a short but long trip. The first part is pretty short though. We were driving for a while, when we finally came to Atlanta! I saw the Olympic torch on top of a huge building. I thought it was a falafel. We were driving through and came to the parking space. It wasn’t open, so my mom waited in the car while me and my dad went to go see the Liberty Bell. First, we walked through a dead end, so we had to walk around the Capitol Building. More about the Capitol Building, it had a golden dome roof with a small Statue Of Liberty on the top. The building itself was tan. Anyways, after we walked around the building, we saw the Liberty Bell. It had all of the flags of the 13 colonies and we took a picture by the New Jersey flag. We walked back and headed into the car. We came to the hotel. We walked in and went to our room. Right as we went to our room, we had to go to the restaurant. I wanted pizza, so we went to a place called, “Blue Moon Pizza”. I had to wait in the car with my dad while my mom got it. We drove back to the hotel. There was a lot of food! After we ate, I took a shower and did all of that night time stuff and then went to bed. To the next state!
Part 2
Now after those states we are heading to a restaurant. It was called Masti. It was an indian restaurant, and the food there was really good. After that we went to another hotel. We went inside and then went to bed. The next day we were heading to the botanical gardens! We went into the parking lot and put on some sunscreen. Then we walked up some stairs to get to the garden. We went through a building with a big green glass statue. It looked so cool! Then, we got in and saw so many plants! We went to the kids section first, and it even had a climbing playground type thing. I ran around on it for a while and then we continued. After the kids section, we saw a huge statue in progress, and lots of bugs. I even tried to take a picture of a bumblebee. It didn’t turn out good though. We also saw a bunch of fruits and vegetables, along with more glass statues. After that, we went into the gift shop and I got a building type toy to make a jellyfish. It wasn’t building blocks, nor legos, but it was something like it. Then we came out and headed home.
