MY VISIT

After my trip to Oklahoma, I traveled north to the Home2 Suites in Wichita, Kansas. I was hungry when I got to the hotel, so the guy working at the hotel recommended Oak & Pie, a pizza restaurant. Then I drove back to the hotel and went to bed. 

The next day I visited the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve and saw, well, tall grass. I also spotted some Bison, but was wary about approaching them. After visiting the open fields, I went straight to Topeka, Kansas, which is where the capitol building and Liberty Bell were. The bell was sadly in storage, so I had to have special permission to see it. It was in the parking garage underneath the capitol building in a separate room. I also went inside the capitol building. I appreciate how each interior is different. This one had a nice, cozy feeling. After exploring a little bit more (including the grounds), I left for Missouri. Bye, Kansas!
