MY VISIT

My family and I took a weekend trip just to visit Annapolis. It was short but we did a couple of very fun things. My favorite thing we did in Maryland was go to Quiet Waters Park for canoeing. This was the first time I’ve ever gone canoeing and it was great! The South River was peaceful, but I did see a lot of boats and fancy yachts. 

After the park, we went to the United States Naval Academy and it was really cool seeing all the students in their uniforms. We walked to St. John’s College and found the Liberty Bell outside on the campus. It’s always fun trying to find the Liberty Bells. After the Bell, we walked to the State Capitol Building, but it was a weekend so we didn’t get to go inside. 

We wandered around Main Street and found a cute place to eat called the Fox’s Den. I had pizza and it  was delicious. I would definitely recommend it!

We stayed at a nearby hotel and went home the next day. I’d like to visit more of Maryland one day, especially Charm City Cakes in Baltimore (Shout out to Duff Goldman!).
