When I was very young, I learned that America had 50 states. I learned about all of the states and that I love the USA. I was so interested in all of the states and their capitals that my family decided we would go to every one.
My first trip was to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania when I was 5 years old. We were looking up places to visit in Pennsylvania that would be on our way home. My mom discovered that Allentown has a church where the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia was hidden during the Revolutionary War. The church basement has a museum with a replica of the Liberty Bell and tells the story of how and why it was hidden there.
During our visit, our friendly tour guide informed us that there are actually 57 replicas of the Liberty Bell. There is one in every state and some that are not in the USA. I decided that I want to see all 50 replica Liberty Bells as I visit every state and every capital.
This is where my story begins!
